Workshop - Effective accounting
“Effective accounting” aims to increase the confidence of attendees regarding business accounting and finance; to understand what buyers are looking for in the company’s accounts; and to enable better financial planning and control which can lead to reduced costs and improved financial results.
Content of this workshop will include:

- Balance sheets – the first step in valuing your business. How to use it and how it’s viewed by investors, lenders, suppliers and customers.
- How and why do public sector buyers analyse your accounts? What might stop you getting past the first tendering stage?
- Profit Improvement Methods. How price changes affect your bottom line.
